drownsinflowers: (really now?)

[This was Roy's idea of whatever was the opposite of Hell, which he truly believed they'd already been through together. If he could be with Riza until the end of their days here, he would be happy - he'd thought it for a long time, but this was making it a reality.

Everything she did felt right, and there was nothing he'd done so far that seemed to bother, disgust or amuse her - at least not that he could tell, and not in a way that seemed negative.

Maybe sometimes dark fairy tales had happy endings?

Thinking on it wouldn't make it happen though, but he didn't need to give much input for the wheels to begin turning. She made surprisingly quick work of his buttons, something that would have made him flinch if it had been anyone else. The scars of their trials, he was aware, were probably some of the most telling marks on the both of them, and he would expect that she too had steered clear of physical contact with others out of a need to protect the stories behind each one of them.

Roy reached out to grab around Riza's waist once he was pulled in, not just to be able to touch her again, but also to keep himself upright. The temptation to push her back mounted, but he held on - if only because falling would further impede the progress of their undressing.

It was definitely appropriate here for him to slide a hand behind her back, fingers finding the zip he'd felt earlier and moving along the line of it until he could catch the zip itself, he tugged - just once before stopping, perhaps caught up in the moment, but maybe, like Riza, he was waiting for the command to rewind all of this.
